what we’re about

Mission

Collisions exists to build community through video games and video game culture.

Core Philosophies

Play for the fun. Play for the people.

A lot of tournaments exist to build up pro players. They’re prized, and players play hyper competitively in hopes to go pro and gain sponsorships. While that’s all very good (we support the prize-fight scene), that’s just not us. We want to be the kind of event where you meet with your crew, meet some new folks, play games, get better, and get drinks afterwards.

Esports & Video Games build community. Communities build esports.

All of our founders have met some of their best friends over video games or made good friends better through video games. Video games create the kind of experiences that forge serious bonds. We hope to connect those serious bonds to build a group of people who love esports and gaming culture and also want to get to know other folks who feel the same.

More esports is good for everyone.

We want more esports across the board. Dallas keeps wanting to be the “esports capital” but that happens from the ground up — through fans of the game, not through corporations and their sponsored teams.
